We're excited to share that we're adding Charity: Water to our $1 Sample Donation Program!
About Charity: Water:
785 million people lack basic access to clean and safe drinking water. We’re on a mission to change that. We believe that sustainable work is locally-led. Along with implementing community-owned water projects, our local partners help facilitate comprehensive water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programming to protect everyone’s long-term health.
The first promise we made is a promise we still keep today: 100% of all public donations bring clean water to people in need. Transparency is one of our core values, so along using every penny you donate to fund clean water projects, we also prove each project with photos and GPS coordinates. Why We Chose Charity: Water:
When we started our first farm in San Fernando, Bolivia, we hired almost all of our workers from the local village Viente Cinco De Mayo. Bolivia is a relatively poor country, and many people there do not have reliable access to clean water. We saw this firsthand and it stuck with us. Perhaps the best part of that farm was enabling so many of the local people to start earning an income they would have otherwise not had access to. Seeing the town thrive as the farm grew was truly amazing. By donating to Charity: Water, we're trying to pitch in to solve this large global problem of access to clean water.
