2 Cups Canned Garbanzo Beans
2 Ripe Avocados
⅓ Cup Tahini
¼ Cup of Lime Juice
3 tbsp Chia Seed Oil
1 Garlic Clove (minced)
¼ tsp Cumin
Pinch of Salt Cilantro and Red Pepper Flakes For Garnish (optional)
1. To begin, start by tossing your garbanzo beans, cubed avocado, tahini, lime juice, garlic, and cumin into your food processor. As you start to blend ingredients, slowly add in your Chia Seed Oil. Keep blending until all ingredients have a smooth consistency.
2. Next, grab a serving bowl and pour in your avocado hummus. To give your hummus a restaurant-style look, top it off with some cilantro and/or red pepper flakes. Feel free to drizzle more Chia Seed Oil if you'd like. Then grab either your favorite chips or veggie sticks and serve up.
Tip: If you're serving later in the day or packing for a convenient office snack, make sure to seal the top of container with plastic wrap. Doing so will prevent any oxygen from browning the avocado.
